Dr. Nitschke has taught at Lionel University for the past year and a half, helping guide graduate education and academic innovation across the institution. Rather than simply memorizing information, students are encouraged to examine research, evaluate evidence, ask meaningful questions, and determine how scientific principles can be applied in professional settings.
This approach helps students develop the confidence needed to make informed decisions as exercise science, fitness, wellness, and health coaching professionals.
Dr. Nitschke’s academic and professional interests include behavior change, health coaching, motivational interviewing, healthy aging, women’s health, exercise adherence, and evidence-based strategies that support long-term health outcomes.
